The "Youth Positive Thinking Activity: Emotional Health Interactive Exhibition," funded by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Youth Development Council and organized by TWGHs Ho Yuk Ching Educational Psychology Service Centre, was successfully held from March 11 to 13. The project aims to promote students’ physical and mental well-being while fostering positive thinking and values. Its goal is to nurture a new generation of responsible, idealistic individuals who are willing to contribute to the future of both our country and Hong Kong.
As positive thinking encompasses various fields, funded projects must have clear objectives, such as strengthening a sense of belonging to the country and society or promoting values like the rule of law. Based on our students' daily routines, our school chose the theme "Sleep Forest." We arranged classes to participate in the activity to learn more about sleep hygiene and effectively adjust their rest patterns.
In addition to social workers from the Ho Yuk Ching Service Centre, 12 trained Youth Positive Ambassadors were on-site to guide the students. On March 13, a session was held for parents, who responded positively and noted that the exhibition helped them better understand their children's thoughts and enhance mutual communication.
